Frequently Asked Questions

Well firstly congratulations on embarking on your new build journey, how exciting!

Secondly, we’d suggest jumping aboard our social media channels for oodles of inspiration followed by booking a Discovery Call with our Director Nikki Hobbs here.

Please complete our unique online questionnaire and sit tight for Nikki’s email and call.

Bingo, yes we do!

In fact, we welcome you to view our standard Design Package here for an overview of what our initial Design preliminary agreement may look n’ feel like (to be tailored per client, pricing dependant).

Absolutely, this is our preferred method of engagement for three reasons;

One. It safe guards our clients (and Hobbs) to ensure that your design meets budget expectations, avoiding disappointment further own the track, and

Two. It streamlines the process for both parties. This is our full-time career path and we do this very efficiently every day, avoiding possible delays often experienced when clients manage trades themselves.

Three. We design your home with the end in mind, such as furniture placement, homewares and styling. Small details are not overlooked from the project inception.

Residing and working within the Scenic Rim, we at Hobbs Building & Interiors are incredibly mindful of our pristine environment. It’s highly likely you are too, and that’s why like-minded people attract.

Albeit “eco-building” is a buzz topic that isn’t really defined as such, we believe practising mindful techniques such as: site recycling bays, using eco-materials and cleaning products plus staff carpooling (where possible) is a terrific start.

However, we’re often asked by our eco-loving-clients to incorporate their level of “eco-ism” of which we happily abide, such as fully off grid projects using sophisticated battery systems. Ask us anything, we’re very open to researching innovative new products.
