Winner of the 2019 Master Builders Queensland (Gold Coast) Rising Star; recognised as an experienced low-rise builder with 10 years international carpentry, building and project management experience. Proudly at the helm of managing all hobbs’ residential and commercial projects. When not onsite somewhere in the Scenic Rim you’ll find him on the golf course.
Hobbs’ multi-tasking business development manager and digital marketing guru equipped with a site supervisor’s and real estate licence plus a diploma of project management and interior design. Nikki’s passion is showcased in her country-style interiors range – Hobbs Home – showcasing wares individually sourced from Indonesia and Morocco.
Lee joins team Hobbs after relocating from Melbourne with his young family in search for a Gold Coast green n’ gold change. Formerly co-owner of a successful Building & Renovation business, Lee is uber-experienced in all facets of Carpentry. After taking some extended RnR camping to recharge his batteries, Lee now oversees the Hobbs site team including stakeholder management via our state-of-the-art Buildertrend system.
Meet Jordan – an award-winning school-based apprentice – who joins team #builtbyhobbs from the AITC (Gold Coast). Jordan’s acquired a tonne of practical skills helping his parent’s renovate properties, plus has a background in hospitality, transport and construction. In his spare time you’ll find him strapped to his Honda 250 in the Hinterland.
Interior Design Assistant and local Beechmont babe Ryley joins team #styledbyhobbs with qualifications in Interior Design & Drafting. Her 2D coloured renders, moodboards and hand-sketch floor plans are an asset to our selections packages. You’ll be sure to see Ryley RnB dancing her way around our client selection appointments.
This girls got skills! Rachel joins team Hobbs with exceptionally high quality craftsmanship and a passion for sustainable building design. Rachels’ a quiet achiever (with a sporting gun licence) and has aspirations to build her own country-style eco home in the Scenic Rim within the next twelve months. Based in Boonah, you’ll see Rach and her dual-axle trailer travelling.
The queen of anything iPhone related, Jacqui is a much-loved friend (and client) of Hobbs. Currently co-managing Hobbs’ social channels and creating content at every chance. Her creative eye for detail, perfect angles and interiors style is an asset to our team. She’s currently exploring video via Insta Reels and more. Meet Steve, Hobbs’ experienced (and wise) Carpenter with a passion for living in the Scenic Rim. Steve and his family have resided on Tamborine Mountain for over three decades; the perfect environment for a creative soul who loves cooking and music, including keyboard, guitar and singing (badly)! We’ve finally nutted out that Steve enjoys Reggae, Rock and Electronica genres.
