World Bee Day continues on our Journal this week, with our Managing Director and masterchef Luke sharing his Honey Chicken recipe (of course featuring his own harvested honey) 🐝 🍯

Luke’s Honey Chicken


2kg chicken thigh fillets (sourced from Canungra Butchery)

Marinade ingredients

1 tbsp garlic

250g honey

1 tbsp ginger

½ cup sesame seeds

½ cup chopped chives

 Get yourself prepping
  • Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl… mix them well
  • Add your chicken thighs, cover and place in the fridge to marinate (the longer the better)
  • Preheat your oven to 200C
  • Place your marinated chicken in the oven to cooke for at least 40 minutes (or until cooked through)

Serve your honey sweetened goodness with steamed jasmine rice and freshly blanched greens from the Nosey Gnome Organic (located on Tamborine Mountain).
